Imposing Brutalist building, Royal National Theatre, London, designed by Denys Lasdun. Completed in 1976, it stands on the South Bank of the Thames. Urban landscape of great controversy over the years, now is a Grade II listed building.

I used to live in this building in Wroclaw, designed by Jadwiga Grabowska Hawrylak in the 60’s, inspired by work of Le Corbusier. I shared an apartment in this ‘Manhattan’ block with a bunch of friends when I was at Uni. It was a special time, when everything was possible and life was full of promise.

The building, Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago, designed by Bertrand Goldberg Associates in 1975 ,was unfortunately demolished in 2013 to make space for a new biomedical research facility.
